The importance of diet

“You are what you eat”, as the old adage goes. It is so true, and never more apparent when health challenges arrive in our lives. Eating a variety of healthful foods, fruits and vegetables and cutting down on caffeine, sugar, dairy and processed foods can be a first step towards boosting a flailing immune system. More serious conditions, that present debilitating symptoms can be greatly improved with some dietary changes and it can become an important management strategy towards greater wellness.
